I am so happy to welcome everyone to my new website!

I am Sara Andon, a Los Angeles-based flutist, and I have so much to share with you.

I love variety and diversity in my career and have been so lucky to have been able to be part of so many worlds of music. In Los Angeles I am a recording artist for films, television, video game and album projects. Locally I perform in symphony, film/TV/video game, opera and musicals, chamber, jazz, new music and recital concerts. Internationally I am a soloist performing great film music with orchestras and at festivals around the world.

My newest album, “John Williams Reimagined,” recently released on Warner Classics, is a true milestone in my career and a heartfelt dream realized. This special recording features a classical trio—flute, cello, and piano—and is performed with award-winning international soloists and chamber musicians, cellist Cécilia Tsan and pianist Simone Pedroni. The album is produced by legendary film music producer Robert Townson and has been personally approved by John Williams, spanning over 50 years of the Maestro’s iconic career. Another special album of note that precedes “John Williams Reimagined” is “Cinema Morricone: An Intimate Celebration.” This recording for flute and piano is a full-spectrum musical journey honoring the phenomenal film scores of Ennio Morricone. It is a joyous collaboration with Italian pianist and Van Cliburn Gold Medal–winning pianist Simone Pedroni, also produced by Robert Townson. The full album is available on Sony Classical, and selected tracks can also be heard on the “Albums” page here on my website.

I am the Artist Teacher of Flute at the University of Redlands and am Principal Flutist with the Redlands Symphony. My teaching activities also include the Idyllwild Arts Academy and am available for international lessons via video chat.

My home studio allows me to record remotely for composers and projects anywhere in the world.
